White teak is of Indian Origin. It is also found in the natural forests of Myanmar, Thailand, Lavos, Cambodia, Vietnam and in the Southern Provinces of China. It is Cultivated more in sierra, Nigeria and Malaysia White Teak grows well in clay Soil and does not grow in water logged areas. It can be planted in furrows; with lot of leaves they will look beautiful. White teak can be grown as a wind controller in open areas. The fallen leaves will decay and fertilize the soil. It has drought tolerance. The leaves of this tree is food to silkworms and used as medicine for cattle and human beings.
