Adam Himmelsbach from the Boston Globe joined Celtics Beat this week and said that while fans may be low on Gordon Hayward after a string of injuries derailed his otherwise successful 2020 season, the Celtics intend to keep him. Hayward has a $34 million player option for the final year of his contract with Boston and Himmelsbach said do not expect the C's to trade him if he exercises it.
