When and how did Pankaj Udhas receive his reward prize for singing?
The first reward Pankaj Udhas received for his singing was Rs 51. Actually Pankaj's elder brother Manhar had become a famous playback singer. This led to Pankaj's interest in music. A stage show of Pankaj's elder brother Manhar Udhas was going on during the Indo-China war. During this, Pankaj sang 'Aye Mere Watan Ke Logon' at the stage. Pleased on this song, a spectator gave Pankaj a reward of Rs 51.
