A Tropical Storm system developed Monday morning near Jamaica and could batter the Gulf Coast of the US as a Category 2 hurricane by the end of the week.Tropical Storm Delta formed in the Caribbean Sea and currently swirling about 130 miles south of Negril, Jamaica moving west-northwest near 10mph.Delta is expected to become a hurricane before hitting Cuba on Tuesday and will intensify with 100mph winds before potentially battering the US Gulf Coast as a Category 1 or 2 hurricane Thursday or Friday.However, there is still 'large uncertainty' in the track of Delta, according to the National Hurricane Center.If it does hit Louisiana, it could bring greater devastation to the state still reeling from Hurricane Laura that hit August 27.
