Diego Ulissi (UAE Team Emirates) claimed his seventh stage victory at the Giro d'Italia as he launched an attack from far out in the uphill finale. Second on the line, Peter Sagan (Bora - Hansgrohe) who is targeting the points classification, became the King of the Mountain. Mikkel Honoré (Deceuninck-Quick Step) rounded out the podium while Filippo Ganna (Team Ineos Grenadiers) closed in the same time as the GC favorites and retained the Maglia Rosa.
