The National Commission for Women has expressed concern over other crimes related to women including gang-rape of a Dalit minor in Baran, Rajasthan. The National Commission for Women admitted that there were increasing cases of female harassment in Rajasthan. Rajul Ben Desai, a member of the Commission that visited Jaipur, while speaking to the media on Saturday said that there is no such thing as democracy in the state. He said that the state team was informed by the state authorities about the implementation of Section 144, but it is applicable only to us.

राजस्थान के बारां में दलित नाबालिग के साथ सामूहिक दुष्कर्म सहित महिलाओं से जुड़े अन्य अपराधों पर राष्ट्रीय महिला आयोग ने चिंता जताई है। राष्ट्रीय महिला आयोग ने माना कि राजस्थान में महिला उत्पीड़न के मामले बढ़े हैं। जयपुर दौरे पर आई आयोग की सदस्य राजुल बेन देसाई ने शनिवार को मीडिया से बात करते हुए कहा कि राज्य में डेमोक्रेसी जैसी कोई चीज नजर नहीं आती है। उन्होंने कहा कि आयोग की टीम को राज्य के अधिकारियों ने धारा 144 लागू होने की जानकारी दी, लेकिन यह केवल हमारे लिए ही लागू है।
