PAKISTAN NEWS (Aamer Habib News Reporter) Afghan Sikhs and Hindus grieved after losing 19 of them killed in a suicide attack. The incident occurred in Jalalabad, Afghanistan. Afghan Sikhs were carrying the coffins of those innocents who were the victims. All of them crying helplessly during the burial ceremony and it seemed their eyes were asking what was their fault? How it happened? __ It happened when a suicide bomber blew himself up in a crowd of Afghan Sikhs and Hindus waiting to meet President Ashraf Ghani in the eastern city of Jalalabad. At least 19 people were killed and 21 wounded. One of them was elected to take part in the coming election. Scores of mourners were shouting “death to Ashraf Ghani” and “death to the government” while placing the coffins of their dear ones in the ambulances that would take them to a temple for funeral ceremonies. One of the Sikhs said, ”This attack has killed many of our elders, those who loved their country more than anything else.” Was their fault just that they belong to a minority? And was this act just a show of grudge towards them? Do Muslims want to show their power as being superior in that country? Isn’t it clear that infact who is suffering from inferiority complex __ Sikhs and Hindus, or the Muslims?
Is there any doubt that they were the direct target even when they had not committed any crime? Is there any stone left unturned to show hatred? Does our religion teach to behave in such a way to minorities? What the government is doing when it can’t provide safety to all the citizens equally? Humanity is crying!
