Kellyanne Conway has tested positive for COVID-19. The former White House advisor took to Twitter on Friday to share, "Tonight I tested positive for COVID-19. My symptoms are mild (light cough) and I’m feeling fine. I have begun a quarantine process in consultation with physicians." She went on to write, "As always, my heart is with everyone affected by this global pandemic." Conway's daughter Claudia on Friday evening posted a photograph of herself wearing a face mask on social video-sharing network TikTok, with the caption, "update my mom has covid." The elder Conway, formerly a senior advisor to President Trump, stepped down from the White House in August, citing family reasons. Trump's aid Hope Hicks was diagnosed with COVID-19 on Oct. 1. Trump, along with his First Lady, received positive COVID-19 tests on Friday. The President, who was experiencing mild symptoms and fatigue, was subsequently taken to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where he will continue working for several days in the presidential suite while getting medical care. "President Trump remains in good spirts, has mild symptoms, and has been working throughout the day," said press secretary Kayleigh McEnany on Friday. "Out of an abundance of caution, and at the recommendation of his physician and medical experts, the president will be working from the presidential offices at Walter Reed for the next few days."
