The central government has given big relief to the borrowers. The government has filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court stating that the Compound Interest applicable on msme loans, educational, housing, consumer, auto, credit card dues, professional and consumption loans will be waived. According to the government affidavit, in 6 months loan moratorium time, the interest on the loan of up to two crore rupees will be waived. The Center has said that in the event of corona virus epidemic, the government should bear the burden of interest waiver, this is the only solution.

केंद्र सरकार ने लोन लेने वालों को बड़ी राहत दी है. सरकार ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में हलफनामा दाखिल कर कहा है कि msme ऋण, शैक्षिक, आवास, उपभोक्ता, ऑटो, क्रेडिट कार्ड बकाया, पेशेवर और उपभोग ऋण पर लागू Compound Interest को माफ किया जाएगा. सरकारी हलफनामे के मुताबिक 6 महीने के लोन मोरेटोरियम समय में दो करोड़ रुपये तक के लोन के ब्याज पर ब्याज की छूट देगी. केंद्र ने कहा है कि कोरोना वायरस महामारी की स्थिति में, ब्याज की छूट का भार सरकार वहन करे केवल यही एक समाधान है.
