The “Mexican Style” Old-Fashioned

This is a “Mexican Style” Old Fashioned, and so it’s made with agave spirits -- tequila & mezcal -- and enhanced with Mexican-like flavors.
Every old fashioned must be composed of (1) spirit, (2) sweetener, (3) bitters, and (4) water. Which is why we chose to use Tequila/Mezcal, vanilla agave, Mexican chocolate bitters, and stirred & strained.
Try this alternative recipe; it's delicious!
6-dashes Hella "Mexican Chocolate" Bitters
0.25 oz Agave Nectar
Tsp. Vanilla Extract
0.5 oz Mezcal
2 oz Añejo Tequila
Stir & strain over a big ice cube
Garnish with a Dried Bay Leaf
