N. Korean leader and his sister inspect flood recovery efforts

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un visited a flood-hit border village to check recovery efforts.
The state media reported, Kim Yo-jong, his sister, was also present.
The regime's leader inspected the reconstruction site in the central border county of Kimhwa to check damage to dwellings, farms, transportation, the power grid, and telecommunications.
He was accompanied by Kim Yo-jong, who made her first public appearance since late July.
Kim Jong-un reportedly expressed great satisfaction with the accomplishments of the People's Army.
According to the KCNA, he stressed, though 2020 brought unprecedented hardships, it will be a year of great victory.
State media didn't provide the exact date of the field inspection, but as the report comes on Friday, its likely to have been carried out the day before.
