The country today marks the 151st birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, and former Prime Minister. Lal Bahadur is celebrating the 116th birth anniversary of Shastri. On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to Bapu and Shastri ji, PM Modi reached Rajghat on Friday morning to pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi. Prime Minister Modi paid obeisance to Mahatma Gandhi here, paid homage to him, a bhajan was also organized here on the occasion of Bapu's birth anniversary.

देश आज राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा गांधी की 151वीं जयंती व पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री स्व. लाल बहादुर शस्त्री की 116वीं जयंती मना रहा है। इस मौके पर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने बापू और शास्त्री जी को श्रद्धांजलि दी,पीएम मोदी शुक्रवार सुबह महात्मा गांधी को श्रद्धांजलि देने के लिए राजघाट पहुंचे. प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने यहां महात्मा गांधी को नमन किया,उन्हें श्रद्धासुमन अर्पिच किए, बापू की जयंती के मौके पर यहां पर भजन का भी आयोजन किया गया.
