The real-life hero Sonu Sood won another prestigious award on Monday for his humanitarian efforts. The Julayi actor has bagged the SDG Special Humanitarian Action Award by the United Nations Development Programme. With this international honour, Sonu joins the list of global personalities like Angelina Jolie, David Beckham, Leonardo DiCaprio, Emma Watson and Liam Neeson, who also received this honour from different wings of UN.

कोरोना काल के दौरान प्रवासी मजदूरों को उनके घर पहुंचाने, विदेश में फंसे छात्रों को वापस लाने, बच्चों को मुफ्त इलाज और शिक्षा मुहैया करवाने वाले एक्टर सोनू सूद को बड़े खिताब से नवाजा गया है। सोनू को यूनाइटेड नेशंस डेवलपमेंट प्रोग्राम यानि कि यूएनडीपी के एसडीजी स्पेशल ह्यूमैनेटेरियन एक्शन अवॉर्ड से नवाजा गया है। सोनू सूद को ये अवॉर्ड 28 सितंबर को एक वर्चुअल सेरेमनी के दौरान दिया गया। सोनू सूद को ये सम्मान बिना किसी स्वार्थ के महामारी के वक्त लोगों की मदद के लिए दिया गया है। ये खिताब मिलने पर सोनू सूद ने खुशी जताई है।
