Today I am sharing Balushahi recipe with u. Balushahi are also called as Indian doughnuts, but the taste and texture of balushahi is way different from doughnuts.It has a soft and slight flaky texture. Hope u will like my recipe. Do give this a try and share ur experience with me in comments.
Ingredients
For Balushahi:
Refined flour/maida - 2 cups
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Baking powder - 1 tsp
Clarified butter/ ghee - 1/2 cup
Water - 1/2 cup
Oil/ghee - for frying
For Sugar Syrup:
Sugar - 2 cups
Water - 1 Cups
Cardamon/ elaichi powder - 1/2 tsp
Yellow food colour - 1 pinch
Lemon juice - 1 tsp
