Disabled man on road-worthy mobility scooter refused service at McDonalds drivethru
  • 4 years ago
Mark Waite suffers from lupus and osteoporosis, causing him to use a mobility scooter.

On Thursday 17, he visited the Brockhurst Gate McDonalds drivethru at 3:10am after his condition caused him to have a sleepless night.

Despite riding a Class 3 scooter - which is road taxed and registered with the DVLA, and eligible for McDonalds drivethru according to the company's own policies - he was told the facilitiy didnt serve people on mobility scooters.
