PressSec Kayleigh McEnany Schools Press Over SCOTUS nomination process

PressSec on #SCOTUS nomination process: "There's nothing in the Constitution that says the president stops being the president in an election year."

White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany (pictured) said on Tuesday that the approval vote for the new Supreme Court Justice (SCOTUS) is possible before the presidential election in November.

McEnany slammed the Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Congress representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for allegedly trying to stop President Donald Trump to fulfill his presidential duty during his term in office and nominate the new SCOTUS judge. According to McEnany, in this particular situation the "Democrats showed themselves in the lowest point amid confirmation process."

Continuing , she pointed out that the president "wants to see a fair confirmation process for SCOTUS judge" and fights to "protect the system and protect the constitution."
