Rape survivor walking 729km to raise awareness
  • 4 years ago
A South African rape survivor and activist is walking 729 kilometres to heal and raise awareness. In 1992, Leilani Kuter was just 18-years-old when she was brutally raped. Her 16-day journey began last Wednesday and she is bravely revisiting significant moments in her life as she finds healing in her walk. Kuter is also the founder of Yellow of Survivors formed to support victims of rape and gender-based violence.
