Schools and colleges have partially reopened in India after being shut for six months due to COVID-19.

Students of classes 9 to 12 are allowed to return to school on a voluntary basis from September 21.

Guidelines set by the Union Health Ministry only allow 50 percent of teaching and non-teaching staff on campuses.

This footage was filmed in Chandigarh, Punjab on September 21.
