Rural communities need tourism

Although the Northern Cape is experiencing its worst drought in recent history, it says it is ready for visitors. The provincial government is driving a campaign to boost tourism in rural communities, which have been hardest hit financially, by the lockdown. Residents of a small village in the Namaqualand say their survival is dependent on tourists and they welcome Level 1.
