Maharashtra: 8 dead as building collapses in Bhiwandi

At least eight people have died and many are feared trapped after a three-storeyed building collapsed in Bhiwandi city of Thane in Maharashtra, said Thane Municipal Corporation PRO on Monday morning. As per initial information, locals and officials have rescued 25 people from the rubble. However, around 20 to 25 people are still feared to be trapped and the rescue work is underway, said NDRF officials.
