Susanna Reid's absence explained as GMB host replaced in show shake up

SUSANNA REID and Piers Morgan have been bringing Good Morning Britain to ITV viewers every day this week. However, while its normal for Piers to take a break from presenting duties on Thursday and Friday, fans were surprised to see Susanna too wasn't on the show yesterday.
Susanna Reid normally take her place at the helm of GMB each weekday apart from Friday. The ITV host tends to present the show with Piers on Monday to Wednesday and then tackles presenting duties alongside the likes of Ben Shephard on Thursdays. However, Thursday's episode of GMB saw both Susanna and Piers replaced as Kate Garraway returned to take on the main role with newsreader Alex Beresford in tow.
