Wealthy nations secure vaccine supply

Wealthy countries such as Japan, Hong Kong and Switzerland have bought more than half the supply of future COVID-19 vaccines. This means that if the current trials are successful, nearly 61 percent of the world’s population will not get access to the vaccine for quite a while. The wealthy nations that will, represent just 13 percent of the world population. Oxfam says the coronavirus vaccine should be made available to everyone.
