If You Absolutely Must Get Out Of The House, Here Are The Most Least Risky Things To Do In A Pandemic
  • 4 years ago
Despite the novel coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, life is still going on, and people are still gathering together to do things.
Now, a HuffPost reports a new graphic has nicely laid out the relative risks of activities with respect to how likely they are to spread the virus.
The graphic, produced by Information Is Beautiful, sourced the information from 500 epidemiologists and experts quoted in the media.

Low-risk activities include eating a takeout, exercising outdoors, playing tennis or golf, going to a gas station, and camping.
Medium-risk activities include staying at a hotel, hosting a small indoor dinner party, getting a haircut, going on a plane, and sending kids to school or nursery.
High risk activities are attending a wedding or funeral, hugging or shaking hands, not wearing a face mask, visiting an amusement park, and eating at a buffet.
And going to nightclubs and bars is the ultimate high-risk activity, followed by going to a concert, play, sporting event, indoor party, and church services.
