Now Tax Justice South Africa is calling for action against the Gold Leaf Tobacco Corporation. It is accusing the company of selling cigarettes online to private customers, without checking whether they are above the legal age of 18-years. The lobby group claims Gold Leaf Tobacco Corporation accounted for more than one in four of cigarettes sold during the lockdown ban. Tax Justice South Africa Founder, Yusuf Abramjee, speaks on this.
