Don't be overconfident, Zahid tells his Perikatan allies

Speaking to reporters when met at the sidelines of a ceramah at Kampung Pasir Puteh in Sabah's Putatan on Tuesday night, Barisan Nasional chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the Opposition must not be too confident in garnering victory in the Sept 26 state election.
He was asked to comment on Bersatu's Datuk Seri Azmin Ali's backing of Datuk Hajiji Noor to be chief minister.
Earlier in his speech, Zahid said the Barisan supreme council had decided that the candidate for chief minister should not be discussed until the Opposition wins the polls.
