He knew that his neighbors were about to come out to cheer and appreciate those people who were working during the spread of Coronavirus. So, the guy took advantage of it, and just before people started clapping, he shouted that he took a shower that day. Naturally, his announcement was followed by a loud cheer and claps from his neighbors, making it look like they were appreciating him for bathing that day.
