This pup is obsessed with her families new chicks and guards them all day.

The clip, filmed on August 13, shows Sojou the Alaskan malamute watching over the new chicks at her home in the Montreal suburbs.

"Sojou is growing to love her chicks and can be caught sleeping next to them or working to chase away cats and a groundhog from our garden just in case they are interested in harming her chicky babies," her owner told Newsflare.
