"Killer whale" siege, fierce attack on boats in Spain.
The "killer whales" repeatedly attacked boats off the coast of Spain and Portugal, causing serious damage to the ships in the past two months.

A delivery ship near Cape Trafalgar (a headland in the province of Cádiz in the southwest of Spain) was attacked by nine killer whales and repeatedly rammed, causing it to spin and break its rudder.

Sailors in the area said the killer whales were still chasing when the ships had fled.

In the past two months, two ships lost their rudder and one sailor was injured after being attacked by the killer whales.

In the most recent incident, a ship being brought by the Halcyon Yachts Company from A Coruña City - Spain to the UK was hit by a killer whale at least 15 times, causing the ship to lose control and have to be towed back to port. .

A video posted by Halcyon Yachts on YouTube shows a killer whale swimming near a ship.

The warning was also broadcast in the waters off the coast of Vigo, Spain.

Biologist Alfredo López said killer whales often travel along the Spanish-Portuguese coast every September.

It is currently not known whether just one group of killer whales carried out all of these attacks or many different groups.
