This is the amusing moment a clever stray pooch stole mouthfuls of dog food from a busy market stall.

Jomz Sanders found the street-smart dog while buying food for his pets in Muntinlupa City, the Philippines.

In the video, the stray mutt quickly takes a mouthful of food before looking in every direction to see if the owner had seen him.

However, Jomz said that the kind owner would catchh the dog, thenn let it eat a few bites before foircing it to leave.

He said: “The dog is smart, so I wonder where it lives. It survived itself living in the street like that.

"She looks like a mother dog, she is so cool because she is very resourceful to survive her daily meals."

Stray animals, particularly dogs and cats, are prevalent in many parts of Southeast Asia.
