First Overnight at Camp Nowhere - Solo Camping
  • 4 years ago
With the state of campgrounds an all of the restrictions as of late, camp is more stressful instead of relaxing. I decided to clear a little piece of our property and “Camp Nowhere” was born. This is a trial run with a few household items I had around. I used a hammock that my wife gave me for Father’s Day instead of a tent this time out because there was no chance of rain this night. I used an old washtub from the barn for a fire pit with an old refrigerator rack to cook on, and it worked extremely well, so there will be a Solo Stove in my future. So basically I loaded a bunch of gear into a wheelbarrow and hiked to the far end of our property. It was a last minute camp out, with very positive results.
