The Babysitter 2 (or The Babysitter: Killer Queen) is the latest movie to be released by Netflix. Coming out two years after Cole (played by Judah Lewis) survived a satanic blood cult, the movie like all horror sequels before it tries to be bigger and bloodier than the first film. However, the characters could be back for The Babysitter 3 soon if the final moments of the latest movie are anything to go by. WARNING: The following contains spoilers for The Babysitter: Killer QueenBy the end of Killer Queen, Cole has managed to foil another cult ritual by no longer being an innocent, leading to the entire cult disappearing (and likely being sucked down into Hell). However, the story is not quite over yet. In a short post-credits scene, it is revealed that while the cult itself might be destroyed, it could be re-established at any point. Newsweek subscription offers In this final scene, the movie shows that the magic book used to start the ritual is still on Earth, and has washed up on the bank of a river. It is then shown with its pages fluttering in the breeze. This means that all that needs to happen for The Babysitter 3 is for this book to fall into the wrong hands. Just showing the book on its own in the post-credit scene is a clever gambit from the makers of the Netflix movie. After all, it means that they can make The Babysitter 3 with an entirely new cast as a new group of people discover the dark magic contained in the book's pages. After the first movie turned Samara Weaving into a breakout star, meaning that she only briefly appeared in The Babysitter 2, the decision may have been made to ensure that the end credit scene did not feature any of the cast. So far, Netflix has not announced whether they will make a sequel to Killer Queen, and the future of the franchise will surely depend on how many people watch the new film.
