Even though the government is making lakhs of claims for the betterment of health facilities in Andhra Pradesh, even today there are many villages in the state where ambulances cannot reach. Something similar was seen in Daraparthi Panchayat of S Kota Mandal in Vizianagaram in Andhra Pradesh, where a pregnant woman was taken on a palanquin (Palanquin) more than 10 km away due to lack of proper road. The case is on Wednesday 9 September.

केंद्र और राज्य सरकार की ओर से विकास के लाख दावे किये जाते हैं लेकिन ग्रामीण इलाकों में आज भी स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं की क्या हालत है ये किसी से छिपा नहीं है. स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं की पोल खोलने वाला ऐसा ही एक वीडियो आध्रप्रदेश से सामने आया है. जहां विजयनगरम में एस कोटा मंडल की दारापर्ती पंचायत में उचित सड़क नहीं होने के कारण एक गर्भवती महिला को 10 किलोमीटर से अधिक दूर अस्पताल पहुंचाने के लिए एक पालकी पर ले जाना पड़ा.
