Senators Resume Amid Standoff On Revenue Allocation
  • 4 years ago
The senate now faces dissolution and closure if the governors keep up with their promise after their timeline lapses. This is because the senate has yet again failed to agree how the 47 counties ought to share 316.5 billion shillings. With senators under team kenya sticking to their guns, and resisting to bow down to the other side, the speaker was forced to adjourn the sitting to next week, leaving senators with just two days to their September 17 deadline. The big question is if they failed to do it in 9 sittings will they hack it in 2 days?
