Man rescued from rubble after building collapses in southern India

A man was pulled out alive after spending 10 hours trapped underneath rubble after a building collapsed in Tamil Nadu's Coimbatore on Sunday (September 6) which killed two people.

Footage shows a rescue team pulling a man named Manikandan out from the ruins on a stretcher before placing him in an ambulance. He is heard saying, "I am fine don't worry stop crying," to his family.

Six people were rescued from the debris of the two-storey building that collapsed on Chetti Street.
