Gautam Gambhir believes one of the franchise’s most valuable and impactful players promises to make things even more difficult for the opposition in this edition of the IPL. The player Gambhir is referring to is West Indies’ Sunil Narine, who has lately proven to be more effective with his tweaked action. The new action sees Narine hiding the ball, making it all the more difficult for the batsmen to read it. Narine’s remodelled action saw him trouble batsmen in the Caribbean Premier League.

टीम इण्डिया के पूर्व सलामी बल्लेबाज और केकेआर के पूर्व कप्तान गौतम गंभीर ने बड़ा बयान दिया है. सुनील नरेन को लेकर गंभीर ने बड़ी भविष्यवाणी की है. गंभीर का मानना है कि युएई के कंडीशन्स में सुनील नरेन कमाल का काम कर सकते हैं. गौतम गंभीर ने कहा है कि यूएई की विकेट से ग्रिप मिलने पर यह स्पिनर कोलकाता नाइट राइडर्स के लिये काफी उपयोगी साबित होगा. गंभीर ने स्टार स्पोर्ट्स के ‘क्रिकेट कनेक्टेड’ कार्यक्रम में कहा ,‘‘सुनील नरेन को यूएई की विकेटों से थोड़ी भी ग्रिप मिल जायेगी तो वह काफी प्रभावी होंगे. सबसे अहम बात यह है कि सुनील नरेन जब रनअप के दौरान गेंद छिपाते हैं तो बल्लेबाजों की मुश्किलें बढ़ जाती है. यह पता करना मुश्किल होता है कि कौन सी गेंद भीतर आयेगी और कौन सी बाहर रहेगी.’’
