Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has played a big Dalit card before the assembly elections. He has instructed the officials to make such a provision that in case of the killing of a scheduled tribe, a member of his family should be given a government job. At the time of the election, playing the Dalit card, 16 percent of the voters have tried to turn their side in one stroke.

बिहार के मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार ने विधानसभा चुनाव से पहले एक बड़ा दलित कार्ड खेला है. उन्होंने अधिकारियों को ऐसा प्रावधान बनाने का निर्देश दिया है कि किसी अनुसूचित जाति-जनजाति की हत्या हो जाने पर उसके परिवार के किसी एक सदस्य को सरकारी नौकरी दी जाए. चुनाव के वक्त दलित कार्ड खेलकर 16 फीसदी मतदाता को एक झटके में अपनी तरफ करने की कोशिश की है।
