The record of bowling fastest ball ever in the history of IPL is named after South African fast bowler Dale Steyn. In the year 2012, he threw a ball with a speed of 154.40 KPH. Kagiso Rabada holds the record for the fastest bowling in the league after Dale Steyn. Rabada bowled the ball against KKR in the previous season i.e. 2019 at a speed of 154.23 kmph.
