Meet the brave men of India's Special Frontier Force (SFF) who surprised the Chinese troops when they tried to intrude LAC on August 29. These men secured the strategic height from China. Formed in 1962 to conduct covert operations behind Chinese lines, it was this secretive special unit that was mobilised into action on the night of August 29. Also known as Establishment 22 or the Vikas Regiment, the SFF operates under India's external intelligence agency, the Research & Analysis Wing and is based in Chakrata, Uttarakhand.
