Last rites of Pranab Mukherjee were performed on Sept 01. The funeral procession took place with full military honours and the guard of honour were given to the former president. Pranab Mukherjee was cremated at Lodhi Crematorium. He passed away at the age of 84 on Aug 31. Mukherjee had contracted with COVID-19 and also underwent surgery for brain clot at Army (R&R) Hospital. He served as President of India from 2012 to 2017.
