Makgoba calls for transparency
Anglican Archbishop of Cape Town, Thabo Makgoba, says the corrupt must pay back the money and go to jail. He has issued a call to citizens to act morally by rejecting corrupt and unethical behaviour. He was speaking during the launch of a COVID-19 anti-corruption campaign by the South African Council of Churches through a Webinar virtual service. This comes after several reports of corruption by ANC-connected individuals linked to COVID-19 related tenders.
