Findings of the Diversity in Teacher Education (DiTE) research program undertaken between 2014 and 2017 demonstrate the remarkable and rapid changes taking place in the landscape of teacher education in England. Drawing on empirial research the book offers a unique insight into the impact of teacher education on the day-to-day situation in schools. The DiTE project follows a similar investigation undertaken in the 1990s on the Modes of Teacher Education project and two of the key researchers involved, Caroline Whiting and Geoff Whitty, are part of the DiTE team.
