Risky situation in northern India after two rivers overflow amid heavy rainfall

A dangerous situation has arisen in northern India after two rivers overflowed following heavy rainfall in the region.

Visuals shot on August 26 show the Saktoh and Darhali rivers in Rajouri district, Jammu and Kashmir in a fast-flowing torrent. 

According to reports, the region has been continuously receiving heavy rainfall for the past few days.

Officials have warned people living near the river banks about possible floods and landslides.
