This is a one pot veg biryani recipe which is much more convenient and easier than the 2 step biryani process. Follow the instructions and add as many vegetables as you like. I have used carrot, beans, and some green peas. You can add cauliflower, potatoes, radish, beetroot, etc

This recipe explains, how to make one pot veg biryani rice at home using pressure cooker but not pressure cooking.

Ingredients for one pot veg biryani recipe:
Groundnut oil - 50 grams/ 6 to 7 tsp
Basmati rice - 250 grams/ 1 cup


Bay leaf - 1
Cinnamon - 2
cardamom - 2
Cloves - 2
Onion - 100 grams

Boiled Green peas - 25 grams
Beans - 25 grams(4 to 5 beans)
Carrot - 50 grams(1/2 carrot)
Ginger garlic paste - 1 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves - 1/8 cup
Mint leaves - 1/8 cup
Green chiili - 1 to 2
Tomato - 100 grams
Curd - 2 tbsp
Red chili powder - 1 tsp
Salt - 1 tsp
Water - 2 cups

Note: Soak the rice for at least 20 minutes before cooking.
