Al's Quickies: Toshihiro Nagoshi tries to apologize to Puyo Puyo esports players but it didn't work.

You try your best.

For context: During the SEGA livestream back in July 2020, Toshihiro Nagoshi (general director of Ryu Ga Gotoku / Yakuza series) poked fun at Puyo Puyo esports players by saying, and I will paraphrase it from the Kotaku Article: "Puyo Puyo esports players seemed like they eat beef bowls with cheese"

While SEGA apologize for this, a month later, he finally apologizes for his comment, some users are satisfied with it.

for additional context, and I will be quoting Kotaku's

"The term chiizu gyuudon gao (チーズ牛丼顔) or “cheese beef bowl face” has been circulating online. Shortened to chiigyu (チー牛) or “cheese beef,” this slang term is used to refer to people who live in rural areas, look very young, wear glasses, and don’t have much ambition. It’s a negative, mocking term to deride people who might not be considered “cool.” Nagoshi was clearly making fun of Puyo Puyo players."
