Airtel chairman Sunil Bharti Mittal on Monday hinted at an increase in mobile services prices in the next six months, saying that data at low rates is not sustainable for the telecom industry. He said that 16 GB data consumption a month for ₹160 is a tragedy.

మొబైల్ యూజర్లకు మరోసారి షాక్ తగలనుంది! రానున్న ఆరు నెలల కాలంలో మొబైల్ సర్వీస్ చార్జీలు పెరగనున్నట్లు భారతీ ఎయిర్‌టెల్ చైర్మన్ సునీల్ మిట్టల్ సోమవారం నాడు సంకేతాలు ఇచ్చారు. ప్రస్తుత డేటా ఛార్జీలపై ఆయన అసంతృప్తిని వ్యక్తం చేశారు. 'మొబైల్ కస్టమర్లకు నెలకు రూ.150 నుండి రూ.160కే 16GB డేటా లభించడం దారుణమైన విషయం' అని, డిజిటల్ కంటెంట్ వినియోగం పెరుగుతోందని, వచ్చే 6 నెలల్లో ఒక్కో కస్టమర్ నుంచి ఆదాయం రూ.200 దాటవచ్చునని సునీల్ మిట్టల్ అన్నారు.
