Hokkien group: All Malaysians have rights to speak up on PAS Private Member's Bill
  • 4 years ago
Federation of Hokkien Associations of Malaysia president Tan Sri Khoo Chai Kaa speaks about the association's concerns on PAS Private Member's Bill and especially on how it impacts non-Muslims. He was speaking during a courtesy visit by PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang to Wisma Fujian on Sunday. The federation has managed to collect 400,000 signatures since it begun its campaign in June against PAS plans for hudud laws. They have been getting good response and hope to hit the one million target before the campaign ends on Sept 20.
