Over 840 weekend arrests in Gauteng

Police Minister Bheki Cele, says he is shocked to hear about the death of three Tshwane Metro Police officers, in a head-on collision. They had been involved in a chase with a suspected drunk driver near Pretoria. He says while the alcohol ban has been lifted, people must behave responsibly. He also reminded South Africans that the 10pm curfew remains in place. At the same time, over 840 people were arrested in Gauteng for various crimes this weekend.
