Doing a volte-face, Pakistan's legendary batsman Javed Miandad on Friday apologised to his former teammate Imran Khan, days after slamming his leadership as the country's prime minister. The rapid change of heart happened after the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) appointed Miandad's nephew, Faisal Iqbal, as one its head coaches for the domestic teams. On his YouTube channel, Miandad had accused Imran of damaging cricket in the country and even went to extent of challenging him in politics.

पाकिस्तान के दिग्गज कप्तान और बल्लेबाज जावेद मियाँदाद ने माफ़ी मांग ली है. इमरान खान से जावेद मियाँदाद ने माफ़ी मांगी है. उन्होंने जो भी बुरा भला पाकिस्तान के पीएम के लिए कहा था, एक बयान जारी करते हुए मियाँदाद ने माफ़ी मांग ली. गौरतलब है कि कुछ दिन पहले जावेद मियाँदाद ने इमरान खान की जमकर आलोचना की थी और कहा था कि इमरान खुद को खुदा समझना बंद करें. वरना मैं खुद राजनीति में उतर जाऊँगा और उन्हें सिखाऊंगा कि राजनीति की कैसे जाती है? विवादास्पद टिप्पणियां करने के लिये मशहूर मियांदाद ने एआरवाई न्यूज से बात करते हुए इमरान से माफी मांगी.
