Samajwadi Party Backward Class Cell President Chaudhary Lotan Ram Nishad has given rise to a new controversy by calling Lord Ram a fictional and film character. Questioning the existence of Lord Ram, the SP leader has said that he has no faith in Lord Ram. He described Lord Rama as a fictional character in the film and said that the constitution has also agreed that no hero like Prabhu Ram was born in India.

समाजवादी पार्टी पिछड़ा वर्ग सेल के अध्यक्ष चौधरी लोटन राम निषाद ने भगवान राम को काल्पनिक और फिल्मी पात्र बताकर एक नए विवाद को जन्म दे दिया है. सपा नेता ने भगवान राम के अस्तित्व पर सवाल खड़ा करते हुए कहा है कि उनकी भगवान राम में कोई आस्था नहीं है. उन्होंने भगवान राम को फिल्म के पात्र जैसा काल्पनिक बताया है और कहा कि संविधान भी मान चुका है कि प्रभु राम जैसा कोई नायक भारत में पैदा नहीं हुआ.
