Over in the U.S., Senator Kamala Harris has officially received the Democratic vice presidential nomination... on the third night of the U.S. Democratic National Convention.

Joe Biden's running mate for the U.S. presidential election, Kamala Harris kicked off the third night of the Democratic National Convention with a video stressing the importance of voting.
"Why don't they want us to vote? Why is there so much effort to silence our voices? And the answer is because when we vote, things change. When we vote, things get better."
Former President Barack Obama, 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi also delivered speeches during the convention on Wednesday.
Obama portrayed President Donald Trump as a ineffective leader, who has used the office only to benefit "himself and his friends".
He also said Trump hasn't grown into the job because he can't... and that the consequences of his failure are severe.
Hillary Clinton reflected on her loss in 2016, and urged Americans to vote like their lives are on the line.
The third night of the convention was mainly focused on immigration and climate change.
On the second night of the convention on Tuesday,... Joe Biden was officially nominated as Democratic nominee for the upcoming U.S. presidential election.
Reuters polls released on Wednesday showed Joe Biden leads Trump in support among registered voters by 8 percentage points.
But with President Trump closing in on Biden in the latest CNN poll... watchers now look to Biden's acceptance speech on Thursday, to see if it'll give him the bump he needs.
